messenger Product launch
For a product used regularly by well over a billion people, Messenger’s approach to brand design was surprisingly minimal. So, in fall 2018 when Messenger launched its biggest product update in years, the occasion called for a significant update.
Working with our in-house team, I led the creation of a new approach to the brand, using elements from the product itself to create a more youthful and exiting look/feel. We then applied this style to a large-scale integrated marketing campaign that included a launch video, PR materials, in-product communications and more.
